Chapter Two: A Trip
After the show had finished, it was dinnertime. The Professor called the Girls to the table as he set it with slices of meatloaf and salad. The Girls sat down in their seats and looked at each other. They were awfully quiet. Blossom propped her head with her hands, her elbows on the table. Bubbles blinked.
"Blossom, are you okay?" she asked curiously.
She nodded quietly.
"Yes, Blossom, you don't seem yourself. Is anything wrong?" the Professor asked as he was pouring himself some water.
"I-it's nothing," Blossom assured them. Buttercup didn't seem to care much; she shoved a forkful of meat into her mouth. Blossom looked at her curiously.
"Hah, I bet you're just too stunned from that TV show," Buttercup said. The Professor looked up from his plate.
"What TV show?" he asked in a semi-serious tone.
"It isn't Crank Yankers, Professor!" Bubbles said, waving her head.
"Yeah, it's another one, Beat the Geeks," Buttercup said, folding her arms.
"Beat the Geeks? What in the world is that?"
The Girls sighed with exasperation, and they all explained the basis of the show, along with its rules, and its cast.
"That sounds like an interesting show," the Professor said. "I guess I'll watch it with you some time. What channel is it on?"
"Comedy Central!" Bubbles said cheerfully.
"Bubbles!" shouted Blossom and Buttercup, and Bubbles covered her mouth nervously.
"Comedy Central...? Now, Girls, you know how that network is. Isn't it a little raunchy sometimes?"
"Well, sometimes. But remember who we are!" Blossom said.
"Yep. We're three, perfect little girls." Bubbles smiled sweetly. The Professor smiled back and sighed.
"Well, all right...but if those shows rub off on you--"
"Don't worry, Professor! We'll be fine."
The Professor nodded with a smile, then munched on the salad. With his mouth partially full, he asked, "So how long have you been watching it?"
"Me an' Bubbles have been watching it for a few months," Buttercup said. "But Blossom started watching it today."
"Oh? Huh, Blossom, what have you been doing?"
"Um...studying?" Blossom suggested, smiling nervously.
"It doesn't hurt to relax once in a while, Blossom," the Professor said.
"I know, I know," Blossom replied. "Okay. Is it on tomorrow?" she asked her sisters.
"Sure is," Buttercup said.
"At 7:30!"
"All right!" Blossom said, smiling.
They finished their dinner, and soon enough they were in their pajamas and under the covers. Bubbles rubbed her eyes and hugged Octi, and Buttercup stretched a final time before laying back with a yawn. Blossom blinked sleepily and sighed, and the Professor kissed their foreheads and smiles.
"Good night, Girls," he said warmly. "Sweet dreams."
"Good night, Professor," said the three, and two pairs of eyes shut tight, and smiles were on two faces.
Blossom was still awake. She stared at the ceiling.
"I wonder why I haven't watched TV with Bubbles and Buttercup before...I never knew how fun TV was," she thought. "And those Geeks were pretty smart, they were right...hmm, I wonder...180 times...that's a lot..."
Blossom's eyes grew heavy, and she gave a final yawn. She smacked her lips and closed her eyes. She turned over and drifted off to sleep.
"Mm...Geek...Marc....Zzzz..."

"Buzz-buzz-buzz!"
Click.
"We're on it!" Blossom said, turning to her sisters with a grin. "Let's go, Girls! Move it!"
"And there go The Powerpuff Girls!" the Narrator shouted, seeing the three streaks of pink, blue, and green shoot through the sky. "Those cute little tykes...heh heh...yep."
"RAAARRR!!!!"
Blossom glared at the purple speckled monster, with four eyes and claws. She clenched her teeth and smirked, then turned to her sisters.
"Okay guys! You two circle around this thing until you meet up at the front. Give him a blow before he sees you, and I'll surprise him by getting at him overhead."
"Right!"
"Okay!"
Blossom circled around the monster once, then zoomed upward into the sky. She flew high over the monster, then saw her two sisters circling aroung the monster in opposite directions. Blossom grinned as she saw the two meet together. The time was right. Blossom zoomed downard as fast as she could, then fired up her eye beams. Bubbles and Buttercup gave the monster four punches, and it staggered backward. Blossom gave a yell and soon enough, red lasers shot out of her eyes and fried the monster. It keeled over, with red 'X's as its eyes.
"Yay!" Bubbles cried with joy, and Buttercup folded her arms.
"Yeah, yeah. That's what we do," Buttercup said.
"A-hahahahahaha!"
"What's that?!" Blossom exclaimed.
"Or who-?"
"It's HIM!" Bubbles screamed, flying back to her sisters.
Red fog surrounded the Girls, making the cityscape below them disappear. They coughed for a few seconds, and when they finally caught their breath, they were not in Townsville anymore.
"Wha-what happened?!"
"I dunno! I dunno!"
Evil laughter echoed throughtout the room, even within their heads. Blossom looked around nervously. They were just floating around a space of red.
"Come, come, Girls, don't you dread. It's only me--notice the red? I just wanted to drop a line, and to say that the Professor may not be fine..."
"What?!"
"What have done you done, Him?!"
"Where's the Professor?!"
"Oh, he's somewhere far, not really near. He's not dead, so don't you fear. I'm certain that you'd want to see him again...but I'm afraid I won't tell you when."
"Tell us NOW!!"
"He's not in Townsville, so cross that out, little Blossom! He's in one of the fifty states. I hope you find him soon, before it's TOO LATE!"
"Him, if you don't tell us where he is-!"
"Hmm...three little girls, with sugar and spice, added with a bit of everything nice were created in a lab by one smart man, and now HERE THEY ARE. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup true--for justice they fight, keeping Townsville new...created, not brought by a mother or stork..."
"Where's the Professor?!" Blossom screamed.
Him laughed with menace in his eyes. "You'll never find him--he's in New York!!!"
"Huh?!"
"What?!"
"NO!"
"Giiirls!!!"
"Professor!!" Bubbles shrieked with a sob. Buttercup gave a yell in frustration. "Enough's enough!! Tell us where he is!"
"Oh, you can figure it out, but here's what you do. I'm going to take something away from you..."
"And what would that be?!" Blossom demanded.
"Oh, come Girls, it's no spell or hex...I'm just taking your Chemical X!"
The Girls gasped and stepped back, but an invisible wave rushed by them. They screamed in pain as the wave passed by. It quickly disappeared, and alas, their powers were gone.
"Ohh...."
"OW..."
"Man..."
"You'll get your powers back in no time--this is just the perfect crime. Get the Professor from that bleak city, and I will spare you...no pity. But your starting point where you would stay, is going to be in lovely LA!"
"Wait!!!"
But they were gone in a flash, and Him laughed with glee. "Well, that Mojo sure has a unique look on things...or he's really bored. Why did he want them in LA?..."

"Oww..."
Blossom opened her eyes. She was lying on the sidewalk, and there were cracks surrounding her. People passed by as she lay there, and the sun was hot and bright. She moaned and rubbed her head, then sat up.
"Where am I...Buttercup? Bubbles?"
Blossom blinked and saw people walk by her as if it was nothing, and her sisters were no where to be found.
